All Care Therapies is currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a home health setting, expanding to the Greater Las Vegas area. We serve pediatric patients with various conditions and are committed to innovative, effective therapy solutions.

COTA Responsibilities:

• Treat pediatric patients using therapeutic activities under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist (OTR).
• Monitor and encourage patients during activities to ensure proper performance.
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences for coordinated care.
• Document patient progress weekly in the EMR system.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment techniques.
• Demonstrate exercises to improve daily functioning and alleviate pain.
• Complete clinical notes promptly in the EMR system.
• Verify client information and review medical history to confirm treatment purposes.
• Follow treatment plans and teach proper techniques for mobility and stretching.
• Ensure activities are performed correctly, providing feedback to the therapist.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress for therapy planning.
• Record billing information for services rendered.
• Uphold safety and legal standards in the work environment.
• Adhere to professional, legal, and regulatory standards and policies.

Requirements:

• Current NV Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• Degree from an accredited OTA program
• At least one year of experience as an OTA
• Current CPR certification
• Willingness to participate in ongoing education
• Compassionate, caring attitude
• Valid State driver’s license and auto insurance
• Excellent communication and time management skills
