Job summary

Chardon Healthcare Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehab team. The role focuses on helping residents improve motor skills and independence, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, with emphasis on documentation and family education.

The position offers a full-time schedule with opportunities to work across multiple locations within the CommuniCare network, promoting stability and continuous patient care.

Qualifications

• COTA education from an accredited two-year associate degree program.
• Hold a valid or pending State COTA license.
• Ability to work across multiple locations to serve diverse resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Help residents improve quality of life by enhancing motor skills and independence.
• Implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Occupational Therapist and educate staff and families.
• Document rehab activities per department requirements under supervision.
• Possibility to treat at multiple locations to support resident care continuity.
