Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab at Hawthorne Healthcare Center in Indianapolis is seeking a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The role focuses on helping residents improve motor skills, independence, and re-entry into the community through direct treatment and team collaboration.

You will implement treatment plans with the OT, participate in staff education, and ensure accurate rehab documentation.

Qualifications

• COTA with valid or pending Indiana license.
• Two-year associate degree in OTA required.
• In-house team member collaborating with OT and rehab staff.

Responsibilities

• Help residents improve mobility and independence.
• Implement treatment plans in collaboration with Occupational Therapist.
• Educate staff and families on treatment plans.
• Comply with rehab documentation requirements.
• Treat at multiple locations as needed.
