Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab in Chardon, OH seeks a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the Chardon Healthcare Center team. You will support residents by implementing personalized therapy plans and helping them regain independence in daily activities.

Under OT supervision, you’ll document progress, educate staff and families, and contribute to a stable, collaborative care environment. This role offers growth within a growing network of centers.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) education, obtained in an accredited two-year associate degree program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License.

Responsibilities

• Help residents improve quality of life by facilitating motor skills development and independence.
• Implement treatment plans through direct therapy and collaboration with an Occupational Therapist, and educate staff and family.
• Document rehab progress in accordance with department requirements under supervision of an OT.
• Opportunity to treat residents at multiple locations to meet diverse needs.
