Job summary

Synchrony is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support therapists in delivering therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary setting. You will implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and families on home programs.

Role requires licensure or certification as an OTA and CPR certification is preferred, with 0–1 years of experience. Collaboration with the care team is essential to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• OTA degree from an accredited program.
• Current valid OTA licensure or certification.
• CPR certification preferred.
• 0-1 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living (ADL) training, and other interventions.
• Help patients with exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques to improve functional abilities and independence.
• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients’ responses to therapy, report progress to supervising OT.
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercises and strategies to support progress.
