What you will do in this role:

  1. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisor and team members; instruct patients’ families or nursing staff in follow-up programs
  2. Assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
  3. Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting standards
  4. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition
  5. Perform responsibilities in accordance with the company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable laws
  6. Perform other duties as assigned
  • Must have certification from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program culminating in an Associate's degree
  • Current and valid state OTA license or certificate in the states where services are provided
  • CPR certification (if required)
