Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Virginia. We support care for aging residents in senior living and skilled nursing settings, with a focus on patient-centered care and mentorship from a trusted parent company.

Competitive compensation ($29 - $35 per hour) plus a full benefits package, onboarding and orientation, CEU allowances, licensure reimbursement, and career development opportunities await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• OTA license in the practicing state is required or eligible to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within the Occupational Therapy scope of practice
• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health
• Collaborate with supervising OT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling COTA/OT co-signature and supervision requirements
• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor
