Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered care in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will treat residents, enhance functional abilities, and ensure proper documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents with disorders or deficits within the Occupational Therapy scope of practice.
• Improve residents' functionality and skills.
• Complete documentation via Net Health.
• Collaborate with supervising OT to develop programs with appropriate co-signature and supervision.
• Attend care planning and staff meetings, including family meetings.
• Assist the facility in meeting OBRA Resident Rights guidelines and certification standards.
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within the Occupational Therapy scope of practice
• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health
• Collaborate with supervising OT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling COTA/OT co-signature and supervision requirements
• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications
