Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our patient-centered team in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings. The role focuses on treating residents, documenting care via Net Health, and collaborating with a supervising OT to develop appropriate programs.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents with disorders within the Occupational Therapy scope of practice.
• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients.
• Complete all necessary documentation via Net Health.
• Collaborate with supervising OT developing programs to meet resident needs and supervision requirements.
• Attend care planning, staff, and family meetings.
• Assist the facility in meeting state and federal certification standards per OBRA rights.
• Follow infection control policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within the Occupational Therapy scope of practice
• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health
• Collaborate with supervising OT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling COTA/OT co-signature and supervision requirements
• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice
