Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our full-time therapy team in a senior living and skilled nursing setting. You will deliver patient-centered OT services, collaborate with supervising therapists, and participate in care planning with a focus on improving residents' daily function.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within the Occupational Therapy scope of practice
• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health
• Collaborate with supervising OT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling COTA/OT co-signature and supervision requirements
• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice
