Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support Emerald Ridge Rehabilitation and Care Center. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care to residents in aging populations within senior living and skilled nursing settings.

Responsibilities include treating residents within OT scope, documentation via Net Health, collaboration with supervising OT, attending care planning and family meetings, and helping the facility meet OBRA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice.

• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients.
• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health.
• Collaborate with supervising OT to develop programs meeting co-signature and supervision requirements.
• Attend care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
• Assist the facility in meeting state and federal OBRA certification standards.
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures.
• Complete all other tasks assigned by manager/supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within the Occupational Therapy scope of practice
• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health
• Collaborate with supervising OT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling COTA/OT co-signature and supervision requirements
• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications
