Diamond Healthcare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in providing client-focused care under supervision of an occupational therapist. In this in-person role, you will contribute to treatment plans and monitor patient progress across settings.

The ideal candidate holds a COTA credential and Pennsylvania licensure, with strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, and experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, acute care, or outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• COTA certification and PA licensure required.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.
• Experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, acute care or outpatient settings preferred.

Responsabilités

Duties:

• - Implementing treatment plans developed by the occupational therapist
• - Assisting patients with therapeutic activities and exercises
• - Monitoring and recording patient progress
• - Educating patients and their families on treatment plans
• - Collaborating with the occupational therapist to modify treatment plans as needed

Requirements:

• - Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• - Pennsylvania state licensure
• - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• - Experience in acute care, outpatient, geriatrics, pediatrics, and occupational health settings is preferred
• - Familiarity with medical imaging and patient care practices
