Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support students with individualized therapy plans in an on-site setting. You will work under an OT supervisor, helping implement goals, collect data, and document progress to ensure student success in school and life.

The role emphasizes collaboration within interdisciplinary teams, adherence to IEPs, and compassionate, student-centered support. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Experience in school or pediatric settings with children facing learning or social-emotional challenges (preferred).
  • Familiarity with IEPs, treatment planning, and behavior interventions (preferred).
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and data documentation skills (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferred).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based, mission-driven environment (preferred).

  • Collaborate with the OT and interdisciplinary team to implement goals and accommodations.
  • Support and follow guidance from the supervising OT for therapy sessions and interventions.
  • Conduct data collection and assist with initial and ongoing assessments.
  • Assist with annual and triennial reviews under OT supervision.
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation and provide progress updates to the OT and team.
