Job summary

Point Quest Group seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver school-based OT, evaluate students, develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs, and collaborate with special education teams in Tolleson, AZ.

The role requires Arizona OTR/L (or eligibility) and IVP Fingerprint clearance; you will monitor progress, provide therapy across educational settings, and support adaptive skills and sensory integration, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities for ongoing professional

Qualifications

  • Current Arizona OT License (OTR/L) or eligibility.
  • IVP Fingerprint Card is required.
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct school-based occupational therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans aligned with IEPs.
  • Provide direct OT services to students across educational settings.
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and related service providers to support student goals and accommodations.
  • Develop and monitor IEP goals, including participation in reviews.
  • Complete data collection, progress monitoring, and clinical documentation in a timely manner.
  • Recommend adaptive strategies and assistive equipment as needed.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to school staff and COTAs when applicable.

Provide meaningful, individualized occupational therapy services for students - helping them build the functional, academic, sensory, and life skills they need to succeed in school and beyond. As a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will design and implement treatment plans, conduct evaluations, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and guide therapy services across educational settings. This role blends clinical expertise with collaboration, creativity, and a strong commitment to student growth and outcomes.

What You’ll Do


  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEPs and clinical needs

  • Provide direct OT services to students across school-based settings

  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and related service providers to support student goals and accommodations

  • Develop, update, and monitor IEP goals, including participation in annual and triennial reviews

  • Complete data collection, progress monitoring, and clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner

  • Recommend adaptive strategies, environmental modifications, and assistive equipment as needed

  • Provide consultation, training, and guidance to school staff and COTAs when applicable

  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district regulations related to occupational therapy services



What We’re Looking For

Required


  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)

  • IVP Fingerprint Card


Preferred


  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings supporting children with learning, developmental, sensory, or social-emotional needs

  • Strong understanding of IEP development, special education processes, and intervention planning

  • Experience with sensory integration, fine motor development, and adaptive strategies

  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and clinical reasoning skills

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

  • Ability to work in a mission-driven, student-centered environment
