Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Contract Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for elementary and middle school students near Albuquerque, NM.

You will assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans, work with IEP teams, and deliver direct services in both individual and small-group settings.

Caseload is about 40–50 students with a 37.5 hour work week; NM licensure with NM RLD and NMPED eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant eligible to practice in NM.
• Must obtain NM RLD and NMPED licenses.
• Experience providing OT in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and collaboration with school staff, families, and students.

Job description

You’ll manage a manageable caseload of approximately 40–50 students, working roughly 37.5 hours per week throughout the school year. The focus is on early intervention and student growth, collaborating closely with educators, families, and fellow therapists to deliver effective, personalized support.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Eligible for, or willing to obtain, New Mexico RLD and NMPED licenses
• Experience providing occupational therapy in a school setting, especially at elementary and/or middle school levels, is highly desirable
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with school staff, students, and parents
• Commitment to supporting students’ diverse learning needs and helping them achieve their fullest potential

Daily Responsibilities:
