Job summary

AZ Therapy Services for Kids LLC is seeking Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year with ongoing opportunities. We contract with schools across the Southwest region and offer flexible schedules, competitive compensation, and health insurance.

Responsibilities include collaborating with IEP teams, delivering direct OT services, adapting environments, and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• Licensing/ certification not listed as degree; requires Nevada OTA license and fingerprint clearance.
• Pediatric therapy experience preferred (fieldwork acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff and IEP teams to develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, individually and in groups, addressing sensory integration, fine motor skills, and self-care.
• Adapt classrooms, materials, and equipment to promote accessibility and participation.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other professionals.
• Document progress and treatment plans according to agency and school guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goals and accommodations.
• Stay current with research and evidence-based practices in school-based OT.

Occupational Therapist Assistant - Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with school staff and Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, addressing areas such as sensory integration, fine motor skills, visual-motor coordination, and self-care
• Adapt classroom environments, materials, and equipment to promote accessibility and facilitate student participation
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other professionals involved in the students’ care
• Document student progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information according to agency and school guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate goals and accommodations for students
• Stay up to date on current research, evidence-based practices, and relevant policies in school-based occupational therapy

License/Certification:

• State of Nevada OTA License (Required)
• Fingerprint Clearance (Required)
• Pediatric experience preferred (fieldwork experience is acceptable)
