Job summary

AZ Therapy Services for KIDS, LLC is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant with a strong pediatric background to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. You will collaborate with school staff and IEP teams to develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct PT services to students in classroom and small-group settings.

We offer flexible scheduling, travel opportunities, and autonomy to tailor therapy approaches to each child’s needs, with part-time or full-time options

Qualifications

• Arizona Physical Therapy Assistant License (Required).
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required).
• Experience in school-based pediatric physical therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff and IEP teams to develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students.
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students, both individually and in small group settings.
• Adapt classroom environments, materials, and equipment to promote accessibility and participation.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other professionals involved in student care.
• Document student progress and treatment plans according to guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goals and accommodations.
• Stay updated on current research and policies in school-based PT.

• Collaborate with school staff and Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students, both individually and in small group settings
• Adapt classroom environments, materials, and equipment to promote accessibility and facilitate student participation
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other professionals involved in the students’ care
• Document student progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information according to agency and school guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate goals and accommodations for students
• Stay up to date on current research, evidence based practices, and relevant policies in school-based physical therapy

Prior experience as a School Based Physical Therapist Assistant or Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred.
