Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (School-Based) for the 2026-2027 school year in East Valley, AZ. You will work under a licensed OT to deliver individualized therapy, assist with treatment plans, and support students per IEPs while documenting progress and collaborating with the team.

Ideal candidates hold an AZ COTA license and IVP Clearance, with school or pediatric experience.

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Arizona or eligibility
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience in school or pediatric settings with children facing learning or social-emotional challenges

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized treatment programs for students based on IEPs or medical plans
  • Collaborate with OT and interdisciplinary team to implement goals and accommodations
  • Support and follow guidance from supervising OT for therapy sessions and interventions
  • Conduct data collection and assist with initial and ongoing assessments
  • Help complete annual and triennial reviews under OT supervision
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation and provide progress updates to the OT and team

Job Title: Certified Occupational Terapy Assistant (School-Based) Pay Range: Based on Experince Job Description: 2026-2027 School Year | Full-Time | East Valley, AZ | AZ COTA License

Support meaningful, individualized therapy for students - helping them develop the skills they need to succeed in school and life. Working under the supervision of a licensed OT, you’ll assist with treatment programs, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and maintain documentation to ensure student progress is tracked and celebrated. This role combines hands-on clinical support with compassionate connection and teamwork.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
  • Required: Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Preferred: Experience in school or pediatric clinical settings with children facing learning or social-emotional challenges Familiarity with IEPs, treatment planning, and behavior interventions Strong organizational, problem-solving, and data documentation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based, mission-driven environment
