Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents.
• Provide therapy services to help patients regain independence in activities of daily living.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and timely per facility standards.
• Monitor and report patient progress or concerns to the OT.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Uphold all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Qualifications:

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Tennessee

• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
