Job summary

Cape Regency Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a per diem Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our care team. You will assist in assessment data collection and direct treatment under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, supporting rehab programs.

Requirements include an Associate degree in OTA, MA OTA license, and state CEUs. The role emphasizes team collaboration, documentation, and adherence to Medicare guidelines.

• Ability to function in multi-faceted systems and interact with staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Under a physician’s order, provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care.Treatment venues include individual, supervised, and group.
• Contributes to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program.
• Consults with and trains patients, residents and caregivers.
• Monitors efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor.
• Documents activities according to the company’s clinical documentation system on a timely basis.
• Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
• Participates in clinical program development and implementation.

Job description

We are hiring a per diem Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic care team at Cape Regency Rehabilitation & Health Care Center!

Weekly pay up to $36 an hour.

As a COTA, you assist in the provision of collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist and participate in clinical program development.

Education & Experience:

• As a minimum, an associate degree in occupational therapy assistant from an accredited program.
• CEU’s per state licensure requirements.
• Must possess an OTA license in Massachusetts.
