Job summary

Civita Care Center at MeadowBrook in Granby, CT, seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This full-time position focuses on helping residents strengthen daily skills and move toward greater independence under the supervision of an OT.

As part of a collaborative care team, you will implement treatment plans, document progress, and support residents with activities of daily living, balance, and mobility, while pursuing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut COTA license required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative care team.
• New graduate COTAs are welcome to apply.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, strengthening, coordination, balance, and functional tasks.
• Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising OT.
• Monitor resident response to therapy and communicate progress or changes.
• Reinforce adaptive techniques, therapeutic activities, and safety strategies.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with OT, PT, SLP, nursing, and other care team members.

Post Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Civita Care Center at MeadowBrook. What You'll Do
