Job summary

Ultimate Therapy Services is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Glen Hill in Danbury, CT. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with residents as they regain daily living skills and independence, with supervision from a licensed OT.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, assisting with ADLs, and documenting progress while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut COTA license required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a rehabilitation team.
• New graduate COTAs are welcome to apply.

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Glen Hill. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work closely with residents as they regain everyday skills, improve functional abilities, and work toward greater independence.

What You'll Do

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, strengthening, coordination, balance, and functional tasks
• Follow individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising OT
• Observe resident performance and communicate progress or changes to the clinical team
• Reinforce adaptive techniques, therapeutic activities, and safety strategies
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation
• Collaborate with OT, PT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
