Job summary

Aventura at Pembrooke is seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. New grads are welcome, and weekday PRN options are available.

• Must hold COTA certification/licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients.
• Relieve pain, restore function, and promote independence.
• Deliver treatment under supervision of the Occupational Therapist as per plan of care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy programs and progress.
• Monitor and report patient responses to interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation per policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients experiencing temporary or long-term disabilities
• Assist in relieving pain, restoring function, and promoting overall healing and independence
• Deliver treatment in accordance with the established plan of care under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
• Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers on therapy programs and progress
• Monitor and report patient responses to treatment interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations
