Job summary

Aventura at Pembrooke is currently seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. New grads are welcome to apply. Weekday PRN available.

You’ll provide OT treatments, work with a dedicated interdisciplinary team, and help residents regain independence in a supportive environment. In-house therapy program, strong leadership, and ongoing training support are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) with active credential.
• New grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients experiencing temporary or long-term disabilities.
• Relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing and independence.
• Deliver treatment in accordance with the plan of care under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers on therapy programs and progress.
• Monitor and report patient responses to treatment interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
