Job summary

Aventura Health Group is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team at Aventura at Shiloh Springs in Trotwood, OH.

In this role you will provide compassionate therapy under the supervision of an OTR, help residents regain independence in daily activities, mobility and function, and document progress. Net Health experience is preferred, and SNF/LTC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio COTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Resident-focused approach with compassion.
• SNF/LTC experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Net Health documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT treatments under the direction of a licensed OT.
• Help residents improve independence in daily activities and mobility.
• Collaborate with OTs and care team to support resident goals.
• Document treatments and progress accurately.
• Utilize Net Health for therapy documentation.
• Bring energy, creativity, and encouragement to the rehab gym.
• Celebrate residents’ wins and progress.

Aventura at Shiloh Springs is looking for a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team! We’re looking for an energetic, compassionate COTA who enjoys working with the skilled nursing and long-term care population and wants to be part of a collaborative rehab team.

What We’re Looking For

• Current Ohio COTA license

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach

• SNF/LTC experience is a plus

• Comfortable working with Net Health is preferred
