Job summary

Sweetwater Care and Rehab seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. You will support the OT and supervisor in daily OT services and coordinate with nursing staff to deliver quality care.

We offer a full-time, part-time, or PRN schedule with a focus on collaborative care, professional development, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• OTA Associate Degree from accredited OTA program.
• NBCOT Certification required.
• Current licensure in state employed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Occupational Therapist and supervisor in day-to-day OT services.
• Coordinate with nursing and other divisions to ensure quality care and wellness.
• Support patient assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation for a rehab caseload.

Principal Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting the Occupational Therapist and/or supervisor in the overall day to day operations of occupational therapy services of the center. Assists in coordination with other divisions, departments, and nursing staff to ensure that quality care is provided and to support the goals and objectives of the company. Promotes wellness through the assistance of completion of patient assessment, care planning, direct treatment and consultation to a general rehab caseload.

Qualifications

• - OTA Associate Degree from accredited OTA program required.
• - Certification as OTA by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) required.
• - Current licensure in state employed.
