Job summary

Yellowstone River Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a talented in-house Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team and support high-quality resident care. We train staff in dementia care and provide mentoring on cognitive retraining, family and caregiver education, and maintenance programming.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a resident’s condition and develop an appropriate OT rehabilitation plan.
• Help residents improve their mobility.
• Help residents through tasks and monitor their performance.
• Inform residents about recovery stages and handling each situation.
• Maintain resident confidence and protect facility operations by confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by infection-control policies and protocols.
• Comply with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Yellowstone River Nursing and Rehabilitation is currently searching for a talented in-house Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team!

We train our therapists in dementia care as well as provide other mentoring as needed in topics like standardized testing, cognitive retraining, family and caregiver training, and skilled maintenance programming.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Job Responsibilities
