Job summary

Skyline Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation, formally known as Bella Terra, is hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house team. We train in dementia care and offer mentoring on testing, cognitive retraining, and family training.

Daily Pay and Free CEUs are available. The role ensures high-quality resident care, supports staff, and upholds Eduro Healthcare values of wellness, compassion, customer experience and company results.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a COTA.
• Experience with geriatric populations is a plus.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a Resident’s condition and develop an appropriate OT rehabilitation plan.
• Help Residents to improve their mobility.
• Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
• Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Skyline Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation, formally known as Bella Terra is currently searching for a talented in-house PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team!

We train our therapists in dementia care as well as provide other mentoring as needed in topics like standardized testing, cognitive retraining, family and caregiver training, and skilled maintenance programming

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Requirements
