Eduro Healthcare’s The Meadows on University in Fargo, ND is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join the Outpatient team. The role emphasizes dementia care training, cognitive retraining, and caregiver education while delivering high-quality resident care.

You will evaluate residents, develop rehabilitation plans, supervise therapy assistants, and ensure infection-control and regulatory compliance. This is a full-time, in-person role with a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold current and active OT license or registration in state employed.
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to the job.
• Satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within 3 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a Resident’s condition and develop an appropriate occupational rehabilitation plan.
• Help Residents to improve their mobility.
• Assist Residents with daily tasks and monitor progress.
• Explain expected recovery stages and how to handle each situation.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and protect facility operations.
• Supervise occupational therapy assistants when required.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and maintain a safe environment.
• Comply with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary team efforts in resident care.

The Meadows on University is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Outpatient team!

We train our therapists in dementia care as well as provide other mentoring as needed in topics like standardized testing, cognitive retraining, family and caregiver training, and skilled maintenance programming

Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate a Resident’s condition and develop an appropriate occupational rehabilitation plan.
• Help Residents to improve their mobility.

• Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
• Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
• Supervise the activities of occupational therapy assistants when required.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Occupational Therapist Requirements
