Job summary

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, injections under physician supervision, and ensuring certification requirements are met while assisting in off-site OH&S services as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate (California) is required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Candidate must have 3 qualifications from the listed options (Spirometry Training Program Certificate; Occupational Hearing Conservationist Certificate; Urine Drug Screen Collection Certification; Breath Alcohol Technician Certification).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with employers or Workers Comp carrier to obtain authorization/claim status for treatment plans, test results, and respond to inquiries.
• Provide support in coordination of care to Physicians and patients.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments including referrals, and register patients per facility protocol.
• Submit reports to employers, insurance carriers, case managers and utilization review companies.
• Coordinate OH&S services and maintain records and database (STIX).
• Enter and reconcile services performed into internal database for billing by regional office.
