UCF Lake Nona Hospital in Orlando is seeking a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist (PRN) to join our obstetric and surgical teams. You’ll prepare the surgical suite, assist with patient positioning, and hand instruments during procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.

This role offers on-call scheduling, access to training and mentorship, and clear pathways for growth within HCA Healthcare’s facilities, emphasizing patient-centered care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Vocational School graduate required.
• TS-C Tech in Surgery - Certified, or CST.
• BCLS certification or BCLS instructor for start date within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for safe, efficient procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Provide instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field, perform counts, and ensure instruments and equipment function properly.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience.

What qualifications you will need:

• Vocational School Graduate.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
