Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist to join a highly collaborative obstetrics and surgery team. You’ll prepare the surgical suite, position patients, hand instruments, and support obstetric procedures with a focus on safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• CST certification required.
• Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for safe, efficient procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while ensuring comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Provide instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field, perform counts, and ensure instruments and equipment function properly.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience.
