Responsibilities

• Provides routine personal care to patients in a timely, safe and effective manner.
• Care may include bathing, shaving, brushing teeth, dressing patients and attending to personal care needs.
• Prepares Patients For Meals, feeds and/or assists with feeding as necessary.
• Extracts and collects specimens; records required information per policy.
• Transfers patients to and from bed or chair using appropriate transfer methods.
• Takes accurate vital signs and records them accurately.
• Assists patients in walking and with transportation by wheelchair or stretcher.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
