Hourly tenure payment is based on years of experience as a C.N.A. and is in addition to the base hourly pay rate of $18.04.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of the Illinois Certified Nurse's Aide Training Program.
• Passing score on the Illinois Competency test.
• Active Illinois registry with a clear record.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Changing, feeding, and bathing residents; attending to personal and grooming needs.
• Serving meals to residents and feeding those unable to feed themselves.
• Performing incontinence checks every two hours.
• Providing basic skin care to residents.
• Noting changes and reporting them to the RN.

• Taking residents’ temperatures and vital signs.
• Turning and positioning immobile residents every two hours.
• Maintaining resident quarters in neat and orderly condition.

Position Summary

We are pleased to announce a new job opportunity at DuPage County government. We currently have full-time and part-time positions for Certified Nursing Associate for first, second and third shift within the Kenneth Moy DuPage Care Center.

Responsibilities

• Noting any unusual changes in residents condition and reporting them to the RN

• Turning and positioning immobile residents every two hours
• Maintaining resident quarters in neat and orderly condition

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of the State of Illinois Certified Nurse's Aide Training Program
• Passing score on the State of Illinois Competency test
• Must be registered as active with a clear record on the State of Illinois registry
• Must be 18 years of age or older

This position requires completion of the State of Illinois Certified Nurse's Aide Training program. Candidates that have the State of Illinois Certified Nurse's Aide Training Program completed without a passing score on the State of Illinois Competency test must receive a passing score within 120 days of employment.

A post-offer physical is required.

A pre-employment background check is required.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and/or arms to provide personal care, crouch or stoop and lift and transfer a maximum of 50 lbs. independently.
