Job summary

DuPage County in Wheaton, IL is seeking Certified Nursing Associates for full-time and part-time roles at the Kenneth Moy DuPage Care Center. Walk-in interviews are welcome; apply online, then join us Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at 400 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL 60187 for a walk-in interview.

Hourly tenure payment is based on years of experience as a C.N.A. and is in addition to the base hourly pay rate of $18.04.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of the Illinois Certified Nurse's Aide Training Program.
• Passing score on the Illinois Competency test.
• Active Illinois registry with a clear record.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Changing, feeding, and bathing residents; attending to personal and grooming needs.
• Serving meals to residents and feeding those unable to feed themselves.
• Performing incontinence checks every two hours.
• Providing basic skin care to residents.
• Noting changes and reporting them to the RN.
• Transferring residents to and from commode, bed and wheelchair.
• Taking residents’ temperatures and vital signs.
• Turning and positioning immobile residents every two hours.
• Maintaining resident quarters in neat and orderly condition.

Education
