Job summary

Asante is seeking a certified nursing assistant for a 0.9 FTE, 1st shift in Grants Pass, Oregon. The CNA will work under RN supervision to provide high-quality patient care and support the nursing process within Asante’s values-driven environment.

Responsibilities include collaborating with CNAs and RNs, ensuring patient safety and comfort, documenting interventions, and communicating effectively with patients and families. Certifications for OSBN and BLS are required at start date.

Qualifications

• CNA certification by OSBN is required upon start.
• BLS certification by AHA is required upon start.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and ability to bend, stretch, twist as needed.

Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.900000 | Full Time | 1st Shift - Days

Salary Range: $19.2700 - $26.50

Shift Differentials

• $1.21/hr. for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $2.05/hr. for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $1.05/hr. extra for working weekends

Position Summary

A Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible and accountable for their practice for assigned patient(s), contributing to the utilization of the nursing process, under the supervision and direction of the RN, and performs all duties in accordance with department policies and procedures and scope of practice. Position Qualifications

Certifications/Licensure

• CNA certified by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) is required upon start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

• This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis – such as transferring a patient in and out of a bed. The ability to bend, stretch, twist, and perform other awkward physical movements is also required.
