Job summary

Juniper Communities seeks a dedicated Care Aide at Juniper Village at the Spearly Center to support residents with daily living activities and ensure safety and independence. Schedules include full-time 2 pm–10 pm or 10 pm–6 am, and part-time 6 am–2 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, with DailyPay option available.

Starting pay is $24 per hour, with higher rates based on experience. The facility prioritizes a home-like environment and compassionate care for residents in a 130-bed skilled nursing

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred; CNA certification required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Communicate effectively with team, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors.

Role:

Care aides are a key part of the Juniper team. They provide physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
• Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – (Required)
