Job summary

New York Community Home Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our New Jersey Senior Center, offering flexible schedules and a competitive benefits package. This in-person role supports daily living activities and memory care for residents in a senior center setting.

Responsibilities include mobility assistance, documenting health status, infection control, and collaborating with the care team. Prior LTC experience and EMR familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care facilities.
• Familiarity with EMR (Point Click Care) for documentation.
• Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and catheter care.
• Basic life support (BLS) competency.
• Ability to provide dementia and memory care with patience and empathy.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations.

Skills

• Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Point Click Care for accurate documentation.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, catheter care, and basic life support procedures.
• Ability to provide specialized dementia and memory care with patience and empathy.
