Job summary

Caring Angels Home Care, LLC is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents at our New Jersey Senior Center. The role emphasizes empathetic care, daily living assistance, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare EMR for accurate documentation.
• Knowledge of vital signs, catheter care and basic life support.
• Ability to provide dementia/memory care with patience and empathy.
• HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care tailored to residents with dementia or memory impairments.
• Use equipment like Hoyer lifts for safe transfers.
• Observe and report health status changes to nursing team.
• Maintain clean, safe environment following infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, social workers, and physicians to support care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.

• Provide compassionate care tailored to residents with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments.

• Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges.

• Observe and report changes in residents' health status or behavior to the nursing team promptly.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, social workers, and physicians to support comprehensive resident care plans.

Skills

• Experience working in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living communities.

• Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Point Click Care for accurate documentation.

• Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, catheter care, and basic life support procedures.

• Ability to provide specialized dementia and memory care with patience and empathy.
