Job summary

Medical Suites at Oak Creek is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. We are hiring for the PM Shift (3:00PM-11:00PM) on a full-time or part-time basis to support residents in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, vital signs, and intake of meals while maintaining safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Active CNA Certification in Wisconsin
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct professional care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers and exercise programs
• Measure and record vital signs, weight and other health indicators
• Observe residents' condition and report concerns to supervisors
• Support residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meals, hydration and feeding as needed
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, including making beds and changing linens
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers while ensuring comfort
• Document care provided accurately in medical records and charts
• Communicate effectively with residents, facilities and other team members
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and urgent needs

In this role, you will work closely with our nursing staff to provide excellent care to our residents, assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

CNA Requirements:
