Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join Winchester Rehabilitation Center and Winchester Medical Center. The CNA works under RN/LPN supervision on the third shift, performing routine personal care and helping maintain a safe patient environment.

Eligible candidates must be on the Virginia/West Virginia CNA registry, hold BLS, and be able to interact compassionately with patients of various ages. A flu vaccination may be required in LTC settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Registered CNA in Virginia and/or West Virginia as applicable.
• BLS Certification required.
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
• Willingness to obtain flu vaccination for LTC areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine personal care to patients.
• Maintain a safe environment and report problems.
• Support nursing staff under RN/LPN supervision.
• May act as a preceptor for new CNAs after experience.
