Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to support the Medical Oncology department, working a Second Shift. The role requires a CNA certification, BLS, and ongoing flu vaccination, with duties including routine patient care and maintaining a safe environment.

Department MEDICAL ONCOLOGY - 206026 Worker Sub Type Regular Work Shift Second Shift (United States of America) Pay Range $18.59 - $24.16

The CNA, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, performs routine personal care duties for patients. Maintains a safe environment and reports any problems. Supports the mission and vision of Winchester Rehabilitation Center and Winchester Medical Center. Once experienced, may act as a preceptor in the orientation of new CNA's.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Certification & Licensures

Registry of the Board of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Aide required.

Must be listed on the relevant Registry of the Board of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Aide in Virginia and/or West Virginia based on work location(s) within Valley Health.

BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart "Healthcare Provider" (HCP) - AHA approved required.

New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.

Qualifications
