Overview

We are seeking opportunities for all experience levels, including new graduates! As part of our clinical team, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional care and service to our residents. The role involves administering medications, conducting assessments, and collaborating with licensed nurses to ensure residents' well-being.

Responsibilities

• Administer scheduled oral and topical medications as per physician orders and policies.
• Monitor and record vital signs according to physician orders and standards.
• Report any adverse medication effects to the Charge Nurse.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medications and treatments.
• Assist with medication management tasks such as returning, reordering, and disposal of medications.
• Notify Charge Nurse of medication shortages or outdates.
• Propose improvements to medication processes to the Charge Nurse.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of a state-approved CNA program and listed on the Maine CNA Registry.
• Ability to use electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
