Aspirus Ironwood Hospital in Ironwood, MI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med/Surg ICU team. You will assist with patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, supporting acute care patients in a busy hospital setting.

The role offers full-time status (0.9 FTE or 72 hours per pay period) with varied shifts. A nursing assistant course and BLS certification are required or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Completion of a nursing assistant course required.
• One year of experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care setting beneficial.
• Current American Red Cross BLS for Health Care Providers or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Experience/Qualifications

Aspirus Ironwood Hospital includes a 25-bed critical access hospital, multi-specialty clinic, satellite clinic in Wisconsin, surgical clinic, walk-in clinic and a home health agency. Ironwood's service area covers approximately 30,000 people. The hospital has a 3 bed ICU and 4 surgical units. The emergency department is staffed 24/7 with ER physicians, with approximately 12,000 visits annually. The hospital's inpatient census is 12 patients per day. The outpatient clinic has over 50,000 visits annually.
