Westfields Hospital & Clinic is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Med/Surg team. The CNA will provide basic patient care under the supervision of the RN, addressing psychosocial and physical needs while supporting pediatric, geriatric, and general patient populations.

The position features a .8 FTE overnight schedule with every 3rd weekend, and requires a Wisconsin CNA license and BLS certification. EPIC and prior hospital experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin CNA license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• EPIC experience is preferred.
• Prior hospital experience preferred.

Position Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Westfields Hospital & Clinic's Med/Surg department, you will assist with the basic care of patients within the Wisconsin CNA's scope of practice, including psychosocial and physical needs that include:

• Performing basic patient care responsibilities as assigned by the Registered Nurse (RN).
• Communicating observed changes in patient status and responses to the RN.
• Providing for the needs of the pediatric, geriatric and general patient populations.

Work Schedule:

.8 FTE - Overnight shift with every 3rd weekend (8-hour shifts)

Required Qualifications:

Current CNA license in the state of Wisconsin

BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in EPIC computer system

Prior hospital experience
