Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living, including serving meals, feeding patients as needed, and helping with mobility and positioning.
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and monitoring weight; records intake and output.
• Assists nursing staff by considering physical, psychosocial, age-specific, and cultural needs of each patient.
• Provides patient comfort, transports patients, responds to call lights, and reports observations to the nursing supervisor.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Assists nursing staff to identify physical, psychosocial, age-specific, and cultural considerations of each patient.
• Works with the nursing staff to provide personal care according to organizational standards and policies.
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine and recording intake and output information.
