Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in admission of patients to the unit and orient to the unit and equipment.
• Respond to patient needs with direct assistance or by reporting to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with implementation of the nursing plan of care by carrying out delegated tasks.
• Maintain patient safety and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Access medication/supply room to retrieve items for patient care use.
• Maintain a well-stocked, clean patient environment.
• Participate in cost containment and accurate charging for patient services.
• Participate in educational and performance improvement activities.
• Maintain competency per unit requirements and participate in HIP initiatives.
• Perform waived testing per unit competency.
