Cape Fear Valley Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant to perform basic patient care on the 2 West unit during night shifts. The role includes assisting with admissions, monitoring patient needs, and supporting the nursing plan of care.

You will help maintain a safe, clean, and well-equipped patient environment, access the medication/supply room, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. CNA certification and NC registry are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Excellent guest relations skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsabilités

• Assists in the admission of patients to the unit and orients to the unit and equipment.
• Responds to patient needs with direct assistance or by reporting to the appropriate person.
• Assists with implementation of the nursing plan of care and delegated tasks.
• Maintains patient safety and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Retrieves patient care items from the medication/supply room.
• Keeps the patient environment clean and well-stocked.
• Participates in HIP initiatives and cost containment efforts.
• Participates in educational and Performance Improvement activities.
