Cape Fear Valley Health System in Lillington, NC is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care, assist with admission and daily needs, and maintain a clean, safe patient environment.

You will work under supervision to support nursing plans, assist with patient routines, and help ensure accurate charging and responsive care while participating in performance improvement activities. The position requires night shifts and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Qualificações

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Current registration with North Carolina Division of Facility Services.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in admission of patients to the unit and orientation.
• Responds to patient needs with direct assistance or reporting needs.
• Assists with implementing nursing care plans and delegated tasks.
• Maintains patient safety and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Accesses medication/supply room to retrieve items for patient care.
• Maintains a well‑stocked, clean patient environment.
• Participates in cost containment and accurate charging for services.
• Participates in educational and Performance Improvement activities.
• Performs waived testing per unit competency.
