Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for per-diem home health visits across Lehigh County. You must be a CNA and have a car. Enjoy flexible schedules, 1:1 patient care, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Join a multidisciplinary team delivering home health aide, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care in the home. BAYADA provides PPE, infection prevention, and on-call clinical manager support.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of work experience
• Must be listed on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
• Demonstrate the ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Have a criminal background check completed
• Meet all state requirements

Job description

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Certified Nurses Aide, CNA for a per-diem opportunity to complete home health visits to clients located throughout Lehigh County. As a CNA, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home. You must be a CNA and have a car.

A Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide must:

• Have at least one year of work experience

Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides / CNA - Certified Nurse Aide :

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance

Additional Information:

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation:
$20.00 - $28.00 per point
